Bring First Nations rights holders, the operator, the capital, and the technology into the same conversation before commitments harden. Engagement begins at the start of a project, not once program design is finalised, and establishes shared objectives, shared data, and shared definitions of success.

Establish the technical and environmental baseline. Map, sample, survey, and set water and habitat reference points before disturbance, not after.

Design the program in phases with explicit stop-or-continue gates so capital is only committed as the geological thesis strengthens.
